Anita Barone

Barone was a part of The Shoes, an episode in Seinfeld's fourth season. She played Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. The early 90s saw Barone was a regular on Carol & Company as a co-star along with Carol Burnett. Barone was the actress's former wife in her first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement when Barone quit Friends for a job that demanded additional time. She appeared in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the first season (from 1995 until 1996), and then on The War at Home from 2005 between 2005 and 2007. Barone was also co-starring in Daddio. Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone won the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2004 for her performance in the feature film One Last Ride. In 2010 three years following the time that The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone started her role as a recurring character for the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's actor husband, guest-starred in the show for two seasons. Shake It Up in the role in the role of J.J. Jones.
