Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the sports of combat. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her competitors in the initial round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd took her fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy by TKO. In her last fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by using her ground and pound techniques and earned an TKO 2nd round win. She remained dominant as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round and got her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was her first fight that she had in any major way. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, and the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds, breaking the streak of winning. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. For a replacement last minute for her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
